Traveling is a big part of tiling in the New England area as most people would know so you always try to do multiple jobs near each other to save on the cost.
This brings us to these two tiling jobs, the first being a big main living room floor tiling project in Glen Innes and a cool splashback tiling in Glencoe.
Lets start with the Glen Innes floor tiling.
Using 600 x 600 tiles these bad boys are fun to lay but hurt the back in this older age.
The owners wanted a tile that look natural but also had so much less grout as possible.
They purchased this 600 x 600 porcelain Duratile from Bunnings in Inverell with 20 percent wastage.
Always important to remember you want at least 20 percent wastage on a 600 x 600 tile
Personally I think the tile has came up beautiful and hides all the dirt with that stunning pattern.
Lastly we have this quick splashback we tiled in Glencoe.
I love when a client goes for a tiler project outside of the box its the challenge I love.
This gorgeous splashback used mosaic tiles which are a challenge for the grout they use.
The impact though is what you want for a splashback with a neutral benchtop.
